Hi. I’m Dr. Shelley Long.

I work with teens, adults, and women who are navigating the kinds of life moments that make you pause and ask bigger questions — about who you are, where you’re headed, and what needs to change.

Maybe anxiety has crept in.
Maybe a relationship, career, or identity shift has left you feeling unsettled.
Maybe you’re rethinking your relationship with alcohol and wondering what life might look like on the other side of it.

Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real conversation. Together we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and help you reconnect with the version of yourself that feels steady, clear, and authentic.

Who I Work With

You might be here because something feels off — or because something is shifting.

Maybe you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that aren’t working anymore. Maybe you’re in the middle of a transition — expected or not — and trying to find your footing. Maybe you’re questioning your relationship with alcohol and wondering what life could look like without it.

Or maybe you can’t quite name it. You just know something needs to change.

Wherever you are, this is a place to slow down, get honest, and start moving forward in a way that feels more grounded and aligned.

Testimonials

What Clients Say

During one of the darkest times in my life, I made the decision to seek help. With fear of confronting my feelings and the social stigma of therapy, I searched the many psychologists in the area and came across Dr. Shelley Long’s website. Dr. Long eased that fear from the beginning over a phone consultation. With her vast knowledge on mental health combined with a kind and caring heart, she creates a safe place to dive deep inside and tackle the hardest issues. This made for a perfect mix that I needed to help guide me to a better place. Rather than telling me what I need to do, she listened to me and knew exactly what to say and, without me even noticing, put me on a path that was specifically for me. She has the gift for making people feel seen and valued rather than being just another client. I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for Dr. Long and I will forever be grateful for how she helped change my life.”
